Rewind the clock a few weeks or more. It's hard to distinguish when, but sometime in the blur, "Tiger King" and "SNL at Home" conversations at HELM were punctuated with "how can we help?" HELM makes headphones and audio gizmos, hardly the solutions for healthcare, stimulus checks, or even toilet paper shortages.

Eventually two somewhat related ideas surfaced; 1) working with ID.me HELM could offer discounts to hospital workers, EMT's, fire and rescue workers, police, US-stationed military & veterans, and others working on the frontlines to fight Covid-19, and 2) HELM would give away two pairs of TW5 headphones to randomly drawn heroes working in the battle against Covid-19 in their communities as nominated by their friends, families, and co-workers in one of HELM's #TagAHero posts on Facebook or Instagram.

#TagAHero is a few weeks in already, but the stories that are pouring in are remarkable. We want to recognize everyone who is sacrificing their health and safety to protect and rescue the health and safety of others - so we're launching this blog entry; "HERO STORIES - #TagAHero Mentions That Inspire." As we read comments that share what amazing efforts are being reported to us, we're going to share them here, and we're going to update this regularly while the world continues to battle this pandemic.
